Finding Help

Many people are afraid of letting people know that they think they may have an eating disorder, depression, or other mental illness for many reasons.
What if they don't believe me? What if they think I'm just trying to get attention? What if I don't really have a problem and it's just my imagination? I don't want to worry my parents, what if they freak out? What if my parents put me in a treatment center and make me gain weight? What if I am judged for this? What if  they don't accept this as a real problem? What if...What if... What if?!?!

I hate it when the "What Ifs" come haunting, but don't let them stop you. If you find that you're having any disorder type thoughts, please seek help. You might as well cut off the problem now, because the longer you wait, the more the habits will become ingrained and the harder it is to get rid of them.
Here are some links to quizzes made to help you determine if you have a problem, but quizzes can't see into your mind, so, listen to your instincts, and trust yourself about yourself more than a quiz.

You should probably let your parents know, because you are their responsibility and stewardship, and more often then not, they will appreciate deeply that you have taken time to talk to them and will do all they can to help you get back on your feet again.
I strongly suggest visiting a doctor first. They can help determine your diagnosis, and help you see what you need to do to improve your physical state. Some cases of anorexia (and other mental health problems) require hospitalization. Major Electrolyte  imbalances are dangerous and need to be monitored. Also please consider contacting a counselor or seeking some form of mental therapy. I have a counselor and she has helped me with multiple skills in battling this eating disorder. I highly recommend this kind of help.
